If you are planning on helping out at the Fun Run or if you would like to join your student while they do the obstacle course, please let me know so I can forward that information on to the coordinators.
Our Fun Run time is 2:15, and we are the last group of the day.
Your students have earned a lot of rewards from the Fun Run. They all get a homework pass which they can use at their leisure. We will also have a board game day, and a few more rewards.
I posted writing grades this afternoon. I’ve tried to conference with each of your students before posting grades in Infinite Campus, but I had a few students finish finalizing their drafts today, and I have a handful left with whom to conference. Feedback is really important, but you knowing where they are is equally important. Know I grade writing strictly by rubric, which students are given before they start drafting. As always, if you have questions or concerns, I am here and will make time for a conference if we need one.
I will also send home progress reports on Friday. They do not have to be returned. I want to make sure you know where your student is academically. I want them to be personally responsible as well.
