Curriculum
This week, we’ll jump into theme and main idea as well as continuing to read our current novel, Wonder. We’ll also start a new unit in math! I am sure your students are excited about this as well. We finished our unit on the 13 Colonies in social studies, and now we’re moving into a unit in health and science. In writing, we started writing in our notebook daily. Our writing notebooks will the source of our writing grades for the next couple of weeks, so please encourage your student to take advantage of our asynchronous writing time!

Chromebooks
This week I sent a Remind about updating Chromebooks. Some students have experienced difficulty opening some documents, and after a little investigation, I have found that they haven’t updated or rebooted since they started distance learning. It’s also a good practice to do this on Fridays.
