Happy Sunday Night!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and your students are ready for a great week of learning.
Let’s Dig In
We’ve jumped into quite a few projects in the month of February. Some students have fallen into the spring fever blues and aren’t turning assignments in. Please help me keep them on track before this becomes a serious and overwhelming issue.
Students are turning in assignments and not completing any work. This happened sparingly in the fall, but has become a much bigger concern in the last few weeks. If you have any questions, I am happy to go over any missing assignments with you. Please check Infinite Campus.
Wax Museum
Your child is currently completing their research project, in which they interview their selected historical figure. Students are learning to add research, direct quotes, paraphrasing, and summarizing to their writing.
Check out their Google Slides Flipbook and see what they have completed so far. 😁
On FEBRUARY 26th students will spend the afternoon recording their interview answers on Flipgrid. The Flipgrid link for Friday will be posted in Google Classroom next week
– Costumes are not mandatory, but highly encouraged. Please be creative and use items around the house.
