Missing Work

As we’ve transitioned to hybrid learning with some students at home and some in class, I’ve noticed some students accumulating missing assignments, sometimes weekly. I’m doing my best to help students complete this work, and here are a few options:

  • I’ve linked most, if not all, of their current missing assignments in a Google doc which I’ve shared with them via Classcraft and email. They open the document and see a list of links and assignment titles. They click and go right to the assignment. If you would like me to share that document with you as well, please let me know, but your student should be able to access it easily.
  • Each My Digital Planner for the year is in a single Google Classroom Subheading. Students can click on the week, and then the day the work was assigned. Graded assignments have a direct link to those assignments.
  • Students can use the Missing Work Header in Google Classroom.
  • Students can view missing assignments in Infinite Campus

Students must email me or send me a Classcraft message when they turn something in. With distance and hybrid planning, SBAC, and daily classwork, I don’t want to miss any work they complete, so I’m asking they make sure to send me a message and let me know what they are missing.

Students should be working on those missing assignments when not in class with me. We are near the end of the year, and the time to raise grades is quickly approaching its end.
