This week students will take their first SBAC test. Please remember that bed times and good breakfast make a huge difference in student conference and performance. Thank you so much for filling out the Top Secret documents. We’re so excited to share them with students this week.
Students will take their analyzing and plotting data assessment in math this week as well. As we work through our final content, students will also have the opportunity to reassess in areas they feel they’ve mastered since we originally covered the material. In science, we’ll look to close out our unit on ecosystems.
This time of year is a delicate balance. We need to make sure students understand that working hard, showing and checking their work with integrity, and doing their best is what truly matters. We do our best to prepare them to feel comfortable with the material on which they’re being tested so that anxiety cannot find root in the amazing confidence they’ve developed. We appreciate all you’ve done to help us encourage your students and let them know they are more than a test score.

Our testing schedule is below. A link to my post with SBAC letters can be found here. Please make sure students wear comfortable clothing and keep accessories to a minimum. We will ask students to place all bracelets, watches, etc, into their backpack that will be kept in a separate part of the room for testing. Thank you so much!
