Curriculum
Both classes have MAP testing this week. If your student starts their day in Ms. Boelter’s class, they will MAP test math on Monday and reading on Wednesday. If your student starts their day in Mrs. Caskie’s class, they will MAP reading test on Monday and math on Wednesday.
Last week, students conducted some fun engineering experiments and worked to stop Agent Kay Oss from disrupting their order of operations. This week, students will complete tasks that will ready them for 6th grade math.
We will also start promotion practice. On Friday, 5th grade students will get to work with a K-4 teacher and help run K-4 field day. (Parent/Guardian attendance information: here.) After field day, students will enjoy the Ober Talent Show. 5th graders will then participate in their own field day on the following Monday, the 13th.

Promotion
Our promotion is on May 20th. Students will attend promotion, attend a clapout, and then be ready for you to sign them out.
