Announcements

  • No school on Monday.
  • Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences: Conferences will be held on Monday and throughout the week, including daily in the morning. Mr. Young and I have added additional time slots for the morning of next week and the week after.   • ST Math Access: Students can access ST Math at home from any internet browser or from any tablet. I’m happy to help set this up if you need assistance.

Celebrations from the Week

Topic 2 Summative: Our students worked incredibly hard on their Topic 2 Summative assessments, and we’re proud of their efforts.

ST Math Progress: We’re excited to see the great growth our students are making with our ST Math program.

Fall Festival: The Fall Festival was a wonderful event, and the best part was spending time with families outside of school. Thank you all for your participation and support.

Curriculum

I hope this week finds you and your loved ones well. It’s been a pleasure to see our students thriving and making progress in their learning. Your continued support and partnership are deeply appreciated.

This week, we will start multiplying whole numbers. Students will need to understand the box method multiplication, which helps them conceptually understand what is happening when they multiply large numbers. They will also tie that knowledge to the standard algorithm. Here are some helpful videos on these concepts:
