Curriculum
As we enter this exciting time of year, we want to keep you updated on everything happening in our classroom. Please read through the announcements below carefully—there’s a lot going on!
📚 SBAC Testing Information
This week, we will be spending time reviewing important concepts in Math to help students feel confident and prepared for the upcoming SBAC assessments.
On Wednesday, students will take the ELA CAT (Computer Adaptive Test) portion of the SBAC. Please help your child come to school well-rested and on time that day. A healthy breakfast is always a great way to start a testing day strong!
🦅 Guest Speaker Visit
We are excited to welcome a special guest this week from the Desert National Wildlife Refuge! Students will have the opportunity to learn about local wildlife, conservation, and the amazing habitats in our own backyard. This will be a great connection to our science standards and a fun, educational experience!
📸 Baby Pictures Needed!
As part of our end-of-year celebration, we’re creating a special slideshow and need baby pictures for each student.
Please submit one baby photo via the Google Form found here and on Dojo sent through Class Dojo by this Friday, April 11th. Thank you to everyone who has already submitted one!
👕 Shirt Sizes Reminder
Thank you to the families who submitted shirt sizes for our promotion shirts. These were due last Friday, and we are finalizing orders this week. If you have not submitted your child’s size yet, please send it as soon as possible to ensure we have a shirt for everyone.
🎓 Promotion Season is Here!
As we get closer to our 5th grade promotion and all of the special events that come with it, we will likely have important midweek updates. Please continue to check Class Dojo regularly so you don’t miss any announcements, permission slips, or deadlines. We appreciate your continued support and communication!

As always, thank you for being such a vital part of our classroom community. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via Class Dojo or email.
