Here’s a bullet list of important information for those returning to school tomorrow both distance learning and face-to-face instruction.

  • Make sure your Chromebooks are charged.
  • If you are returning to face-to-face instruction, bring your Chromebook, as another will not be issued. We just don’t have additional Chromebooks right now for those who do not bring their school issued Chromebook.
  • Our schedule has changed to allow for lunch in the lunchroom and mask breaks. (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vQoP2-jiKjpdEzUEawqtcAgO8PaQ6gUrfUORavOnGBNMBhMyhZQa7YrOPxpMDRgr30fS2LivHiZBzfn/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000)
  • I will close our Google Meet for most asynchronous distance learning time as I will be moving with students around the school as needed.
  • School uniform dress code will not be enforced.
  • If your student indicated they did not have a school issued Chromebook and are returning, I have those charging.
  • Students must wear their masks all day, except during mask breaks.
  • Please send face-to-face students with a notebook, pencils and the supplies indicated in the Supply List & Quick Guide

Return to School Reminder

Mrs. Mills asked that we share the following information with you for those students returning to in class instruction on April 6, 2021. If you are receiving this message, your student will return to face-to-face learning on April 6. There are two attachments to this emailing containing a large amount of information. These documents are your best source for specific face-to-face procedures. Please note that adhering to these guidelines are required for in person instruction.

ALL students returning to in person learning MUST have a school-issued Chromebook. Students cannot bring their own device. You SHOULD purchase headphones/earbuds for your student to use while they are in class. iPods and Bluetooth devices will not work on school Chromebooks in class. If a student does not have a school-issued Chromebook AND they are returning on April 6th, please let me know as soon as possible. I have polled the students, but want to verify before requesting one from the district.

School uniforms and dress code requirements will NOT be enforced as we return to school for the remainder of this year.

Also attached is our 5th Grade Supply List that contains quick notes about Drop Off/Pick Up, lunch procedures, and no the supplies students will need for return to face-to-face instruction.

As always, we are here should you have any questions.
