Permission Form & Expectations
Hi parents! Here’s our permission form which includes our group expectations. Please fill it out for your child. If you have more than one student attending, please fill it out for each one.

Once you have completed the form, I’ll invite the students to a Google Classroom from which a meeting link will be generated.
Just after my initial message, Splendor was removed from Google Play and Apple stores. I haven’t yet decided what our first game will be, but I will send you that information over the weekend so that you can purchase the game. If you’ve picked up Splendor, it will still be an option for students on Macs and PCs.

Welcome Back and Welcome!
Our first meeting of 2021 will take place on February 17, 2021, at 3:20 PM via Google Meet. Students will need to purchase Splendor via Steam, Google Play, or the Apple App store.
We’ll give a rundown of the group’s rules and expectations, and explanation of how to play Splendor, and then get right into playing. Students will be matched up and start playing one or more opponents while chatting via Google Meet. I will add students via a Google Classroom for the Meet.

We’re Back!
We the Meeple, Stuckey’s Table Top Gaming group, is back! We will meet virtually on Wednesdays after school via Google Meet. Students will need to purchase the game we’re playing on desktop or mobile in order to participate.
Our first game will be Splendor. Splendor is available via the App Store, Google Play, or via Steam for PCs and Macs. Students will have to create an Asmodee account as well, which Ms. Boelter will walk them through.
We will likely add more games, with a maximum of two new games a month. Students who have participated in We the Meeple in previous years will have spot preference. We will start with 40 students, as more than 40 makes for a rough Google Meet. If you would like your student to participate, please join the We The Meeple Remind Group, as all messages regarding meeting time will be sent via Remind. Once you’ve joined Remind, I’ll forward a Code of Conduct and We the Meeple Parental Form.

Our History
This is our 3rd year of Table Top Gaming at Stuckey Elementary. Though our year was cut short, the friendships and the experiences we shared were long lasting. Many of our group members continue to play games with each other throughout the year and summer.
I started this group with personal purchases. Last year, we added to our collection through a community game night fund raiser and by donations by parents or community members. We are still looking for inventive games to challenge our group. I’ve made an amazon list which ships to the school.
