Welcome back parents and students! I hope everyone is well rested and ready to get to work.

This week, we’ll jump back into our time curriculum in math. Please continue to practice math facts with students. We will work on reviews and rotations with multiplication and division, but it will no longer be the focus of our daily math lesson.
In reading, we will work on comparing and contrasting the most important points and key details presented in two texts on the same topic. We’ll do this by continuing to compare and contrast Indigenous Native American tribes.
Students will still be able to complete digital homework, but will have the option of completing paper homework as we have always done. ALL students must complete nightly fluency. Students should complete the reading log or work on Lexia or Freckle for at least 15 minutes per night. I’ve attached our weekly homework packet here. 2018-11-25 Homework
I am looking forward to seeing all of your student’s faces!
I’ve had a lot of amazing parents ask what we need in our classroom. I’ve made a page about what we need in our classroom here: Class Items. Please do not feel obligated. When I’m asked, I’m not always good at remembering or articulating what we could use and how we would use it, so I figured this would be easier.
Thank you!
